Environmental & Social reports

The production of renewable energy takes place in symbiosis with the natural environment. We feel responsible for nature, especially in the places of our investments. That is why we care about conducting reliable natural research.

We monitor the potential impact of the wind farm on birds and bats. During the study, ornithologists analyze the investment area and adjacent areas, and on them, e.g. bird flight paths, nest locations, all in the context of the four seasons. If at least one year’s observation carried out by scientists shows no contraindications, only then we apply for a building permit.

After the investment is completed, we continue to conduct research and verify previous observations. Usually, the research cycle lasts up to 6 years from the creation of the farm.

We conduct a similar research procedure in the context of sounds generated by wind turbines.

In the case of photovoltaic farms, we also analyze environmental conditions. Our and industry experience shows that PV farms strengthen biodiversity and are a safe haven, e.g. for amphibians and insects.
